Shop Assistant

Dana’s Fashion Boutique is a locally owned shop known for curated styles, warm service, and an inclusive, confidence-boosting shopping experience. We’re growing and looking for a friendly, fashion-savvy Shop Assistant to join our team.

What you’ll do

• Welcome shoppers, learn their style needs, and offer thoughtful outfit suggestions

• Keep the sales floor tidy: restock, steam/size, and merchandise new arrivals

• Run the register (POS), process returns/exchanges, and handle gift cards

• Create cute, on-brand displays and mannequins that tell a style story

• Snap quick try-on pics/reels and help with social posts & price tagging

• Monitor fitting rooms and provide personalized styling support

• Receive inventory, unpack/inspect items, and update tags/labels

• Help with events (trunk shows, sip-and-shops) and occasional local pop-ups

What you bring

• A warm, customer-first mindset and love for fashion & trends

• Strong communication, ability to multitask, and attention to detail

• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable on your feet for long shifts

• Basic tech skills (POS, mobile apps, Instagram/TikTok a plus)

• Retail or hospitality experience preferred (not required)

Schedule & perks

• Typical shifts: 10–6 (Mon–Sat) and 11–4 (Sun); must be available at least [2 weekend days/month]
